"Aerokhod" Ltd. was founded in 1999 by a group of specialists collaborating in the sphere of design and construction of vessels based on dynamic support concepts.

   The basic direction of the company's activity is design and construction of amphibious air-cushion vehicles.

   The specialists of the company posses patented technical concepts and technologies proven at experimental prototypes and applied in the course of serial production. The company has also the experience of cooperation with leading scientific-and-research centres of Russia: Prof.N.E.Zhukovsky Central Aerodynamics Institute (TsAGI) and Academician A.N.Krylov Central Scientific Research Institute (TsNII).

   The specialists of the company use up-to-date mathematic software at the stage of research and design activities which due to its profound development, enable to reduce technical risks while creating new products.

   At present "Khivus-6" and "Khivus-10" hovercraft are put into serial production as well as hovercraft "Khivus-32" which can take on board up to 48 persons.

   In 2012 it is planned to put into operation over 550 hovercraft in Sweden and Kaliningrad in the West and in Sakhalin in the East as well as in Tiksi and Ob region in the North and Abu-Dabi and Birma in the South.
